Each season in New York brings its own beauty, from flowers to baby birds to fall foliage to winter’s snow and ice sculptures.
This year’s winter has been very photogenic, and I offer some of the ice art and snow sculptures I’ve found wandering the city.
This first slide show shows ice formations on the Reservoir in Central Park, taken January 24 and 30.
These four photos were taken at Maintenance Meadow in Central Park on February 2, the day after a big snowstorm in the city. I admire the artist sculptors who created this “snow family” using natural items found in the area.
Central Park has been an incredible source of beautiful snow images.
