The worm-eating warbler (Helmitheros vermivorum) is a fun warbler, particularly when the bird decides to appear from the bushes in Central Park and pose for almost a minute! As the name says, this is an insect-eating bird (arthropods, spiders, slugs, and especially caterpillars). The birds probe in dead-leaf clusters.
