Christmas in New York has been very surreal in 2020, with a global pandemic closing stores and leaving the remaining stores being very “woke” and trying appear not to pander to the very wealthy who have pretty much deserted the city. But there are decorations, there are Christmas trees, and there are people shopping and singing (behind masks) and seeking beauty in nature if they can’t find it in a department store.

The stars are still shining over the Shops at Columbus Circle (what used to be known as the Time Warner Center) in 2020.

There are indeed Christmas in New York 2020 videos, despite the pandemic. The stars at Columbus Circle were speeded up to “dance” to Twin Musicom’s Canon and Variations in an offering that has helped me to relieve my holiday stress.
